Membership Criteria

The Impact Guild consists of 10 Peer Groups, each representing a specific field of expertise in a profession or platform within the media, arts, or entertainment sectors. Applicants must meet the requirements of their Peer Group to be considered for membership in the Guild.

Membership Requirements:

The requirements (as outlined below) must be met within the four (4) years preceding one’s application for membership or membership review. In each instance, such requirements apply to the public launch or exhibition of content, initiative, campaign, company, or organization.

Active Status:

Applicants must meet criteria in at least two (2) of the following three (3) categories:

  1. Experience: Employed a minimum of two (2) years within the last four (4) years as an independent consultant – or a senior level (e.g. Director level or above) at an organization – advising other individuals or organizations about using media, arts, or entertainment to promote social good or healthy democracy.
  2. Credentials: Publicly launching or exhibiting at least two (2) projects (e.g. content, initiative, campaign, organization) promoting social good or healthy democracy.
  3. Recognition: Receiving recognition (e.g. qualified nomination, award) from a minimum of two (2) organizations commending excellence in media, arts, or entertainment that promotes social good or healthy democracy.

Or present a qualified body of work relevant to the Peer Group that warrants a waiver to the above requirements.

Applicants must meet criteria in at least two (2) of the following three (3) categories:

  1. Experience: Employed a minimum of two (2) years within the last four (4) years as an independent creator, influencer, or developer – or in a senior leadership position (e.g. Director-level or above) at an organization – creating social media or digital projects (e.g. campaign, website, app, or platform) designed for social good or healthy democracy.
  2. Credentials: Publicly launching or exhibiting a minimum of two (2) specific projects, initiatives, programs, campaigns, content series, organizations, or other work through social media or digital projects promoting social good or healthy democracy.
  3. Recognition: Receiving recognition (e.g. qualified nomination, award) from a minimum of two (2) organizations commending excellence in social media or digital projects promoting social good or healthy democracy.

Or present a qualified body of work relevant to the Peer Group that warrants a waiver to the above requirements.
